Social websites are very interesting and useful because you can find a lot of information about your country but also about any other and read it. Because of that you thou of reality and don't get away. Apart from that you can speak with people that you don't see very often that live in a foreign country or far away from your town. Besides, when you have to meet your friends, you don't have to call them obligatorily, you can write to them in the website and they can see the message and answer you if they want. 

In addition you know other people that finally you can have a very good relationship with or not but you can try to have more friends. The friends that you make in social websites and a traditional friend don't have the same importance, because the traditional one you see more or less every day, you speak face to face with him and you tell him your problems and about your life and he can help you if he can understand you. Instead a virtual friend can't help you in a lot of th

ings and you usually see him only in photos and pictures and you only speak by social websites.

However it doesn't have only positive things or advantages it also has disadvantages like wasting a lot of time seeing photos of other people as a result of which you study less than normally. Furthermore if you put any personal information about yourself you can have serious problems because everyone can see it and they can go to your house and steal things and unfortunately the photos that you publish on them will remain on internet. 

Moreover, personal communication deteriorates a bit because instead of talking face to face we talk sometimes by social websites. Finally, people can do an account on instagram for only insulting people commenting on their photos with phrases that can hurt the person. In other words, you may suffer cyberbullying. 

Cyberbullying means, actions that use information and communication technologies to support deliberate, repeated, and hostile behavior by an individual or group, that is intended to harm another or others. With the increased use of communication technology, cyberbullying has become increasingly common, especially among teenagers. Awareness has also risen, due in part to high-profile cases like the suicide of Tyler Clementi.

If I were the site owner I would put more private settings and I would prohibit the insults. Personally in my account I never put any information about my personal life, any telephone number or my house address.
