Travel to South Africa

In this article I am going to speak about one travel that I did this summer.

This summer I stayed in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Mauritius. I spent 15 days over there and it has been the best experience and travel of my life. I visited different parts of South Africa: Johannesburg, Cape town and the Kruger park. I didn't visit so much as I would have liked but what I visited is the most interesting of each place.

In johannesburg there are not many sites to visit and that city is not very recommendable. However Cape town and Kruger park are very recommendable because you can visit different monuments or something like that. For example, in Kruger I did a safari visiting all the park that has approximately 20 thousand square kilometers and seeing wild animals like: lions, elephants, hippos, rhinos, leopards… It is a beautiful experience when you see animals very near and in their habitats hunting and doing the things that they do in their real life. In that park there are five famous animals that are the lion, the rhino, the buffalo, the elephant and the leopard. It was coined by big-game hunters and refers to the five most difficult animals to hunt on foot.

In Cape town there are many places to visit like a peninsula, the mountain, the beach and the aquarium. I visited all those sites and in the peninsula I saw sea lions from one boat and African penguins. Also I visited one lighthouse that is near a mountain and you have to go up on the cable car. Apart from that I visited a beautiful garden with a lot of different types of flowers. In the aquarium I saw all sort of fish but, unfortunately, the cage of the sharks were empty because some days before one shark had eaten another smaller shark.

After Cape town I went to Zimbabwe to visit the Victoria falls, the highest falls of the world. It was an amazing experience to see a fall that has approximately 110 metres high and that splashes out staying 90 metres above the river. In the afternoon I went on a cruise in the Zambezi river in a boat with two decks. I saw crocodiles, hippos and elephants during that travel and the landscape and the views were very beautiful, it is very recommendable. However, in Zimbabwe there are a lot of poor people and all the time you have one person selling you ceramics things

Finally I went to Mauritius, the prettiest islands for me. There I visited different things like a fall, some of the oldest tortoises of the world, a shop with shep mockups and a mountain with 7 different colours. Apart from that I visited the beach with the transparent water and there I practiced paddle surf and canoeing. Also I went in one boat seeing the coral reefs. In the last day I visited the mountain and one shop that does and sells things made out of crystal. All those things I visited with one guide that spoke in Spanish but I mostly had to speak in English.
